Plating

Today in class we did a plating session and me and my partner kalyca {her blog is Snazzy Food Finds :) }made plates with donut holes, pound cakes, syrup, and whipped cream , and ect. It was pretty awesome. We made two plates, and I will tell you about each of them in turn.


First, We made what we call  Pound cake delight  and it was pretty great.
What it looked like;
It was basically an ocean with a pound cake lifeboat, and the ocean { bottom of plate} was covered with caramel syrup, and the pound cake was sitting in the middle, and it had whipped cream on it, and blueberries all over it, and it had a strawberry with the top cut off, and it had chocolate syrup all over the top. It was pretty great!


Our other treat was what we called donut hole filling . It was our special treat, and it was amazing. 
What it looked like;
It had blueberries around the sides, and in the middle stretched across it, was a layer of whipped cream.
In the middle of the cream, there was a cut in half strawberry, and on either side of it there were two donut holes w/ whipped cream and strawberries inside. It was AMAZING.

Sloppy Joes

Sloppy joes are exactly what they are called. Sloppy. You cook some meat and put it between two hamburger buns. They may be sloppy, but the hot, juicy hamburger is to DIE. FOR. It is a great dinner perfect for a starving family.
